Snow Conditions ?
« on: Feb 15, 2019, 07:28 AM »
Hoping to head to the IS, west shore, or outer Mallets bay tomorrow. How are things looking for wheeler travel following this weeks' storm?

Thanks. Doesn't sound too bad. Should settle some today.

We were on the west shore on Saturday. Vantines. No problem at all.  2" of snow on the ice. Good walking and 4 wheeler travel. Maybe 12" of black ice.

Fished the islands the last few days and haven't come across more than 4" of snow at any point in the ice.
