What kind of grease or oil is used when you repack the shafts on Beaver Dam tip ups?

I don't own any "Beaver Dam's" but I do have polars and I make it a habit to change out grease before every season and I would highly recommend HT's Blue Lube. Its pricey but it works, nothing more said.

You can get it on line at 877icefish.com and I have seen a Walmart carry it now and again. Get your local sportshop to order it in. Much cheaper if you buy 1/4 or 1/2 lb tubs.

Buy the small squeeze bottle, just poke the tip in and squeeze until it the lube comes out the other end. I bought a small bottle to get it in the tipup shaft and a bigger one that I refill it with, a little goes a long way.

You can also use white lithium grease. It's what I use. I just repacked all my Beaver Dams with it. I put it into a syringe and inject it into the spindle till it comes out the other end.
Good to -10 below, so they claim.

It doesn't hurt to take a shot of air and blow most of the old grease out before repacking.
