setting up hub
« on: Jan 22, 2020, 09:46 AM »
Trying to find video I saw of setting up hub from inside.   Not the usual way of pulling sides from outside such as the Clam video.   It looked like an easier way.   Thanks.

One man set up, I have to go inside to complete the set up of my hub.

Never seen the setup method showin in the Otter video.
Anyone tried that with another hub brand like Eskimo?
Sure looks easier than trying to reach in an pull a side especially if you have short arms. :)

Yes, but be careful as sometimes the poles and hubs do catch and pinch things.  The most important part is laying out the hub shack on the floor properly, especially laying out the hubs.  Then get inside as you pop the first hub.  If the hub isn't laid out properly, getting yourself into a one sided hub is just a fumbling pinch.
