Turns out the large is perfect. I’m in a tree right now with it on low.
This is the Mr. Heater wall adaptor for the fan. I know, it says 6 V/800 mA but with my Fluke meter it measures 11.7 V DC output.
If you are measuring it unloaded that is completely possible to read far more voltage. When it is running the fan measuring the output would be a better indication of the true voltage the fan is pulling. Now having said that Chances are running 12 volts (or running off a vex battery 13-15V) would not damage the fan. Most of the DC fans will run between 4-12VDC.
That makes perfect sense. Yes, I measured it unloaded and it showed 11.7 VDC. I can't measure it while plugged in with fan running. My understanding about DC fans is it's worse to run them underpowered than a little overpowered. I don't know if when the batteries are running it and get weak if the fan has an auto shut off.
I use a Fry Daddy now but Fleet had these in their ad today, looks perfect for a fish house. Problem might be it has two 1500 watt elements so that means 3000 watts to run both right? Can you run that on a 20 amp circuit in your home?
Can’t find this online. Is it in store only?

Ahh got it. The ones I posted are Ridgid, not Ryobi. I have a 9Ah that went bad last year during a trip. Ridgid replaced it, but I don't want to get stuck on the ice with one battery again (even if I don't use it).
$14.99 is the 1 pack
Don't forget, if you live in an area with a Menards near by, Home Depot will also match the 11% off when they are running that sale at Menards (more often than not it seems).https://www.homedepotrebates11percent.com
