grilled sandwiches
« on: Jan 14, 2010, 02:34 PM »
We now wrap our sandwiches in aluminum foil instead of putting them in sandwich bags.  This way we can put them on our Coleman sportcat heater and "grill" them.  Nothing quite like unwrapping a steamy, piping-hot sandwich on an extremely cold day.  Our favorite is still the grilled ham and cheese, but just about anyhting works.  I'm sure we aren't the first to do this, and won't be the last, but it is surely the easiest way to cook on the ice.

Nice!  I'm going to have to try this.  I've heard of people heating food on their Buddy Heaters, but not the sportcat, which I've got.  Thanks for the tip.
