Another possibility...take a bottomless pail/bucket out with you. drill hole, place bottomless pail over hole and go. fill in hole with ice shavings on top of your duty. fish different hole

I'm starting to wonder with all these stories if this is the reason why the fish taste so bad in Cedar Lake  .... It's in the water LOL....

It's bad enough that people leave beer cans and cigarette butts on the ice.  Have more respect for home owners on the ice.

about 6yrs ago my uncles neighbor had his boat pulled up on shore. as normal for winter.  when spring broke and he went out to launch for some fishing, he found it.  several people used the transom of his boat for a portapooper!  said it looked like  several people or the same guy had used it.  i told him i would lend him a trail cam after deer season.  he said he would just pull up to the house next year.  lol  oh and he washed it out in the lake.

Makes you wonder doesn't it.  I remember playing with a lot of mud when I was a kid but not much poop.  Did see some Amish kids once running behind the spreader catching poo balls!
