I guess you could say school is out on perch.  that Bass pic i scary.  You swim with him in the summer Yikess.  Those 4 big gill will make a very hearty dinner.  I really like looking at underwater camera pics.  You can almost hear the Jaws music in the backround.  The basss scare even the biggest gill away so if he would not move then its time to drill another hole.  Thanks for the fun gang!  Some day we need to fish together.  I need to figure out how to tape underwater shots that  looks fun.

Wanted a change of pace, so last weekend went out for spring time Steelhead. started out alittle slow but as soon as the sun came out it was time to get the net.

RiverScum & I ventured out last night in shorts and tank tops for what maybe one of the last hard ice adventures. Got into some crappies right off the bat. Fishing 6 f.o.w. most fish were between 2ft - 4ft. You could sight fish most while it was still light out. After dark the bite slowed down quite in abit. I finished with a limit and RiverScum was a few behind me. Most fish were in the 10' range. (dinks in our books) but freezer was getting low.

Which charter boat captain did you go out with when you got the steelies?  All of their boats have the diamond plate on the back like that.  Lucky Duck?  He has been sitting in that same anchor you have in your picture for the past week.

Fishking a buddy of mine booked it through Penrod N Reel out of Warsaw. Someone backed out of the trip so he ask if I would like to go. Kinda soften the expense alittle bit. If you want a no worry fishing trip I highly recommend Penrod. Was a good time for sure.

Well RiverScum & I ventured out to locate some perch, well our normal waters were boat access only  drove around for abit found some safe ice so we decided to go for it. Located a bunch of fish 12-15 ft in 18 f.o.w. bunch of lookers only a few that were hungry.

Got 2 crappie worth mentioning 1= 14" 1= 16" with 4 smaller ones around 11" also put 4 hand size gills on ice was a very tought bite but well worth it. I owe RiverScum half tank of gas for driving around to find safe ice
