Mid November Massacre

Made it out with StinkyBaits and another friend today in search of some fishable ice. Low and behold we found some that was around 4" of good clear stuff. Bite started very slow...by Noon we had around 15 fish. We decided to move to another area that was around 5ft deep and started picking them off out of the weeds. I found a hot hole that produced about 20-25 nice fish. We threw everything back under 7 3/8" today(measured just for Princecraft :) ). Fish were caught on various jig combinations from bricker bugs to lindy toads....bait, not bait, plastics all worked, but spikes seem to do the best.  The day ended up being much better then expected...the ice was starting to take a beating by the end of the day, so I will not be going out till things tighten back up. Slayer caught all of those! I was too busy eating Jerky and Fishkings smoked steelhead reminiscing about the coney dogs and dry cabin! I think once I got my fingers smelling like the smoked steelhead the fish couldn't get enough of the jig. Was a good time and we were careful didn't take any chances.

That was my fish caddy! I'm too old for this type of exercise and it took me 47 years to aquire my girlish figure! I am not going to lose weight this winter like last year. After putting a pencil to it caddy just way easier and cheaper than a ATV!

Ya... I forgot to mention another good friend of mine went with us....lol(post edited)

We all caught fish don't let Stinky BS you. He does need a caddy with all the stuff he brings. :)

Dang it I forgot to grab some smoked steel head today...too busy fishing!

Da hot bbq jerkey was flame tho!!

Congrats!  I wish I could say the same about being out before Thanksgiving in Indiana!  I'm truly jealous.  Normally this time of year I'm just starting to organize and put my gear together and here you are tearing them up.

Thanks Jeremy. Not sure if it was the move or the fish decided to start biting. Both areas had fish in them.
