Crappy. Most are still open water. Found 1 with decent ice. Might try to hit it tomorrow.

There's ice everywhere!! Just make sure you take a spud, cause it all freezes differently! Channels, small lakes and pond have been locked up for a while, but I haven't been around to see if anyones out yet. I'm surprised no one got on you and posted GIT IN YOUR CAR AND GO SEE FOR YOUR SELF!! Oh that's right, it wasn't a question about the western quadrant ice conditions.

I went by Round on Sunday.  It was locked up.  Stood on the ice but it was cracking under my weight and I'm 225#.(1.5"-2")  I would imagine that by now it MIGHT be accessable.  Please be careful! and stay away from the pipe!

All of the Valpo chain was locked up on sunday except a spot on flint where the gesse were keeping it open. Should all be good this weekend. Might have 4" on it now would have to check. I feel better with 6 or more inches when i go

Dang calling out the west side of the state.  Lakes are frozen up here but not vouching for fish able ice.  Yesterday morning i could only get out to about 10" of water with safe ice on my pond about a acre.  Fox looked safe and would bet it would be by Sat morning.

Fox was 3/4 open water 2 days ago. Don't tell people it looks safe.

Fox lake in Angola; drove by it in the morning on Tuesday and the bay in front of the launch looked like if you were brave enough you could walk on it and ice was sticking out 20-30 feet on the west side of the lake, with temps and the fact silver froze over last night  I would bet by Saturday you could fish that bay to the break to deeper water with relative ease of mind.  Not giving away your "spot" am I?
