I will try and make it. New to site and would like to put faces to names. Pretty lake is one of my favorite places to fish. Good quality fish, nice clear water, good for site fishing. As mentioned earlier can be a tough bite at times. Just remember black ice flies and no bait.

Ya I am . That way I can decide which restaurant we are going to go to . Because of seating but both have good food .

I am hoping to make it and will be bringing my fishing partner. PTO Jim has met him. So add 2 to your list. even bought a map so i could find the place. LOL now if i can get up early enough to get there at 7 in the morning LOL i am a afternoon person by nature.

Sounds good . If have any other questions don't be afraid to ask . In the next week or 2 I'm going to do some scouting up there and see if I can find a good bite closer to the ramp so we don't have to go all the way across the lake to get good fish .

Go to the hump that's just northeast of the public access. Between that hump and the shore to the northwest is typically a good producer for me (gills/perch). There are also some walleye that roam through that area.

At this time I'm looking at Turkey Lake Tavern or if it looks like we are going to need more room it may be Lake Of The Woods Tavern.

Ok I have had a suggestion from river scum that we do a big pot of chili on the ice . Which could be done . If we went this way it would be good if we could get some of you to bring chips cookies and other snacks too. What are you thoughts on doing it this way ? I'm also open to any other suggestions to make this a great day for everybody .

That would be a great idea. Only thing is that we would need a close to accurate count on people attending so we know how much food to make. Wouldn't mind having extra food,just wanna make sure everyone gets enough to eat

chili / pot luck or restaurant sounds good to me - head count for sure closer to the date sounds like a plan - i thought maybe there might not be enough seats for everyone in the local restaurants so chili sounds like it could work best depending on how many show
