North of Kendallville just off of 3, across the road from big long lake.

The lake has some nice fish but can be a challenge. Lots of deep clear water. Used to be planted with trout. Now planted with walleye. Bring some tip ups to set while you're jigging for panfish, as the lake not only has eyes it has some big northern pike. I mounted a 41 inch northern for the lake association years ago. Best bite for walleyes is first light and dusk.

Also yellow perch, bluegills, some natural bluegill/redear hybrids, and crappies. I've found decent yellow perch just off the bottom in about 30 fow. They move a lot though.

One favorite spot for gills is a hump on the east side known as Jobe's Hole. The key is finding some weeds or structure in this lake.

Ice permitting there used to be an ice fishing tournament every year with cash prizes. Been a few years since I've been up there so I don't know if they still do it.

I may make the trip if the ice is good. Look forward to meeting you all.

4745 S county road 890 E wolcottville 46795 . When you punch this in it should take you right to the ramp or the house right next to it . It should have you turn on 500 S off of state road 3 and then on to 890 E after that . I hope this helps . it is also on page 101 in the sportsman connection Northern Indiana fishing map guide . If you have any more questions do not be afraid to ask or PM me .

No problem. Just wish I'd been fishing it the last few years to give more up to date info. Been having too much fun with my four ponds and four recirculating systems raising fish.

just bring what ever you need to fish . You will also want some money for food/drink when we go to the restaurant to eat .

Turkey lake tavern? ..a fish only and a frosty mug.
There is only one theory about angling in which I have perfect confidence, and this is that the two words, least appropriate to any statement, about it, are the words "always" and "never."

That is the plan unless we need a bigger place . If so I'm looking at lake of the woods tavern.

Thank you Jim at PTO

Jerms32 and I just got to meet Jim at his shop . He was gracious enough to donate some items for us to give out at the get-together . I would like to extend a very big thank you to Jim for helping out with this . I would also like to thank Hoosier for helping me get this going . If you have not been in his shop, you need to stop in sometime. He has a very nice selection of the products that we all use and need .
Here is what is going to be up for grabs .
2 PTO hats.
1 set of HT polar ice picks.
1 Morell jig box with 9 custom painted jigs.
1 Plano pro latch jig box with 10 custom painted jigs.
1 Jason Mitchell elite series rod with spring bobber .
