Best Lakes you ever fished in indiana

On the right year there can be a lot of good lakes . But the lakes that I like best are the ones that are frozen with fish in them .

There aren't any walleye in Winona, nor are there any perch at the 'see.

During the summer and spring and fall there is usually no ice ha ha and i believe that during the fall and spring is the best time to fish because the water temp is 70 to 40 degrees.

I am just messin' with ya.  Both lakes are great fisheries.  Heck, I have been known to fish them from time to time.  Now do us K-county boys a favor and quit braggin' those lakes up........less fisherman=more fish for us!

Hang on there Grasshopper.  Did you ever think that there might be better lakes out there in the area?  I know a lot of guys in the area that don't touch those lakes and they can fish circles around me when it comes to walleye and perch.

There's really only two lakes in koskieosko whatever county that have good populations of walleye wino a and pike lake there also dewart but haven't caught one there in a while.

All I said was I know guys that don't touch Winona or Wawasse and they are successful when it comes to walleye and perch.  Draw whatever conclusions from that you will.  To my knowledge Winona and Pike are the only ones that the DNR currently stocks.  They have stocked other lakes in the past with Dewart being one of them.

As far as perch goes, every lake in the area has them.  Wawasee being the one that gets talked about the most.

I like Wawasee plenty of places to park without getting hassled. Round lake seems to always produce good parking and it's usually one of the first places that freeze up. It's great there's more public launch sites in Indiana then when I was a kid but we could park along the road fish snow channels people didn't care so much back then about parking. The trash left out on the ice and along the roadsides pretty much put an end to all of those off road parking spots though.

Any lake with ice on it and no crowds.  That includes Round (only first and last ice).

Tri Lakes Round Lake. I always forget about that puddle up in Kendaltucky that's not a bad place either though. I always think about those poor *****s buried right there though feel like I'm parking on someone's grave that couldn't afford a stone;x

Lol some people might think were joking.... There is a beer can reef!!! There's man made reefs in the ocean submerged tanks, ships, vehicles, whatever has mass. Just so happens in Round lake it's beer cans. Rico did a fine job of creating it I'm guessing about 24 cases worth it's massive!!!
