I've been in the low voltage/communications game for 7+ yrs. I currently work for the prime contractor for Comcast in Fort Wayne as an installer. I enjoy the job but I really hope it gives me more time to fish this year than it has in the past!

Nah.. I put everything in the houses.. there's a dedicated contractor who buries the drops we lay...

I wish it was all warm! it goes about half and half.. It sucks fightin' 3' or more of drifted snow to wrap cable and phone lines around the outside of a house that needs rewired.. or when they need a new line from a pole behind the house you have to haul your 90lb ladder 200' back through the drifts to get to the pole.. But you take the good with the bad..

Hows everyone work outlook so far?  Im a nine year member of sheet metal workers local 20 and right now its pretty slow.  Some guys from our shop been getting a day or 2 off a week.  Unfourtantly I dont think theyll ask me so I can fish...lol
