Fish Lake just north of Fremont.

I was scanning Steuben County with Google Earth and there is a lake on the East side of I-69 connected to Little Otter, anybody been there? Looks like a parking area on its south shore and no houses.

I believe you are referring to Marsh Lake, which I've heard can be really tough at times.  I've only been there once... I did OK (not great), and a couple of the guys I went with struck out.

i think its pretty darn shallow.

Never ice fished it at all.  Had good luck there in the summer.  If ya end up doing good and post some hogs, you'll drive the guys here crazy since theres only 4 property owners around the lake.  By the way, what side do you go on at?  Wont ask for prop owner name on here, I'll know.  We tend to have the best luck in the west end or east lake up in the north end.  Be careful out there though, a guy went through with an ATV a couple years ago.
We come in on west end, and usually fish second basin from west end. Have done real good there.

Ya think the Slough gills will still have the worms in the meat this year. When I find fish with that, it kinda turns me off on the lake if know what I mean!! ;)

That would be Green Lake. Be very careful on that lake. It has a lot of springs. Nice gills, some perch, redears and crappies.

Green Lake isn't connected to Little Otter though.  Its the one thats just north by the outlet mall east of 69.  If he's looking to the one connected to Little Otter then its gotta be Marsh.  My luck on Marsh has been a little spotty.  The best fishing Ive done is is clear down to the east end.  There are 2 creeks that flow into Marsh down there.  Probably 30 yards or so from shore theres a decent break.  Ive heard good things about the back side of the island too.  Never ice fished it a whole lot, but thats what I do know.  Used to live like a mile from there and still didnt ice fish it a whole lot.
