Well, Almost done now and ready for the ice season, Bought the trailer for fifty bucks and a few  :P hours later; Here is the new home.

All benches on hinges for storage and old refridgerator plastic trays under long bench for storage; Corner by the stove has hinged bench for wood storage also.
Whe the jacks are fully cranked up, they take the tires completely off the ground and the 5 gal pails fit perfect to the ground. The stove should be enough for heat and for lighting I have a coleman lantern but still need to install a vent in the shack ; Other than that ; Things should be good this year and the best part is it's very light; I could pull it by hand with the hitch but will use the truck to get it out and quad it around later. The holes are cut into floor and the covers are oversize so no draft. ;)

Pretty nice shack you got there, you should be able to stay plenty warm. Looks like the best $50.00 spent, have fun.

Sweet looking shack. You'll have a blast in that unit for sure. I made one last year and had a riot using it all winter. Sure beats freezing...

Nice shack. And money very well spent.

A little update, The shack now has the 12 volt lights and am/fm/cd installed along with the solar panel to help out the battery; It is never done I guess.... ;D

I guess if the ice was here we would all be fishing but instead, I don't mind working on the shack and making things better when it does happen.... Will try and get some pictures up tomorrow . ;)

Yes, The lights are two leds in the ceiling powered by 12 volt with a solar panel and two batteries; Very bright inside when it's dark   ;D

Very nice. My son and I built one out of an old Palomino pop up and fished out of it for about eight years before I got a dropdown. We loved fishing out of it. We had a bunk in each end also. I ended up giving it to my nephews and they are enjoying it now. Great job. What are you going to use between the floor and the ice?? We used 10" PVC pipe and it worked great.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

That is a awesome shack! I don't think it will take a lot of wood to heat it. Like the benches with storage, never enough storage ( Im a pack rat)  and no it will never be done, always needs something else to make it almost perfect!

Thanks for the kind words, Hopefully I could get it out there right around Christmas and have some fun; Already tried the wood stove since it was in my old shack and it is very warm in this one as well.

Today the shack got hauled out and was going good till about five km, Then BOOM!!! Trailer tire blew and was forced to leave the shack out by the boat launch about five feet from the ice; Will fix her up tomorrow and get it to it's winter home then since the weather was not cooperating today either............. ;D

Hi, And thanks for looking ; The shack is on the ice and all is well; The 5 gallon pails underneath for the holes to the ice are perfect and the rest is working out great aside from the oddball rim I had to find to replace the destroyed one from the blowout the day I hauled it out ; But made it's journey and now it it sits on the ice awaiting the weekend to go out and do some snow cleaning and then it's fishing time.

All in all, I think you will be very happy with what you build and you have the satisfaction form getting it done yourself.......Be safe out there............. ;D

Nice shack .
The only thing I would do different is add a window or two and a fire extinguisher .

;D   Thanks for the post, The fire extinguisher is in under the bench beside the batteries and the only window I wanted was in the door so noone could look in and decide to enter and get some free stuff; They will if they want anyway ; So maybe more windows in the future.... Heres a few pictures from the past weekend....
