Great catch by your son. Some of my favorite childhood memories were spending the day on the ice with my dad. It was important for our family to spend time with one another in the great outdoors. These days it's becoming exceedingly rare to see youth so enthusiastic about icefishing. Way to raise him right-thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys! I can honestly tell you he lives and breaths fishing. If he ain't fishing he is watching fishing videos or reading books and magazines about fishing. His Christmas list consists of nothing but fishing gear. And as some of my fishing partners can attest to, he knows what he is doing and usually out fishes all of us, especially if it's a jig bite!

my nice cutt from lake Elmo on saturday, not a bad way to get the new ice season going within the first minute of fishing.
