WOW! thats a nice trout, I lost a nice brown over the summer.. went swimming for it since I had no net.

I got it jigging with a perch colored northland buckshot rattle spoon /hali dropper chain ......I was fishing for perch

tape ......I got my rods color coded with tape ................Red ....light
Blue ......Medium
Yellow ......med - light
well you aren't going to believe it .....Central Pennsylvania....came from a Private develoment lake that wasn't stocked since it was built Indian Lake

wow. hard to believe that, but since I am unlike many people, I do believe it. Stocked trout can have very strange genes from fish from a variety of places after all.

no its rosy red cheeks ...and red in the lower jaw , I THOUGHT IT WAS RATHER UNUSAL that is why I took the picture like that .....it was 22 inches Prettyest fish I ever caught

hey TFB,
some of the stocked lakes around here get the odd rainbow with slashes under its jaw.
not saying your wrong or anything but theres a possibility it isnt a cuttbow.

Ain't no cutbow. Bows get like that all the time here. I'll try to find a pic or two. Great fish though! Wow!

well, we call em cutbows over here when they get like that. I guess some of them probably aren't then, if you guys have rainbows that get those slashes. Rainbows aren't supposed to get those though. I wonder why that one did? I find it odd someone in pennsylvania caught one that looked like that. that is one pretty rainbow btw.

yeah we get cuttbows too but they never have those dark colors.
i dont know how the rainbows get those slashes
