Looks like a few of us will still be hitting the hard water, who else is going? I think either Canada lake or Piseco may be the place.

I'm pretty sure this will be the last hoo-rah...than it will be time to switch gears,get the boat ready and reline all my trout riggins do a lure inventory...does it ever end?ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

I suppose we will hit black again sun although it has not been very good last couple of times still poor fishing is better than no fishing. any way i don' eat fish

Old lady wants perch on Saturday, and I go for lakers on Sunday. I was planning on going back to Bonaparte again, I got the tripod for the aqua-vu and I would like to try it out. Where to fish for perch is another story because the old lady likes to fish for perch where she can see the bottom and watch the perch and pick out the ones she wants to catch. If the bite is on, You have to almost threaten her to get her off the ice. You go tto tell her the ice is cracking or something. She only likes to ice fish because she gets sea sick in even my little boat but the ice is golden, she loves it. Just make sure that it is at least 6-8" thick. Any ideas for good perching on Saturday would be apreciated. Thanks ,

Robb Piseco or Canada? Chasing lakers huh? I was thinking about chasing the Rainbows on Northville Pond or perhaps back to the sunny /pickerel pond for an action filled day.

Keep me posted on your plans for the weekend, I might change my mind and join ya!

coldbum, i just talked to a friend and he said something about trying Northville Pond. i have never fished there in the winter and would like to try it. if you're going and want to meet up, let me know.

My sled has been whispering the words "drag me around" I think i may give in. Not sure where to go and what is still safe. rather not burn 200$ and 1 solid day finding good ice.

my brother and flagstealer are on eel bay as im posting this....with a 32 inch pike on the ice last day of the season. says its the thickest ice they have been on all season, well over a foot

If the wind wasn't piling off the lake i'd be. Stiff breeze is something you can shake off, this wind is something else in itself. $:-\$

it sucks! panfish are the thing right now. limited fishing species right now.

very very true. andy hit the lake trout spot today, and the spud through with 2 whacks

but its going to stay cold..........so who knows by the weekend...ill post here pike pics when they get back from eel tonight

havent been....stupid work

was going to investigate the upper river, but the flow jumped back up fast.....behind the hotels is always slack water...... i would use a small fly or jig tipped with a waxworm

the time for trolling is almost here
