Yep I agree better get out while you can cause I think the fat lady is warming up. Dang weather :%$#!:
-
I think next Saturday will be best spent in timber chasing bushy tails.
-
Still lots of ice here, just a matter of getting on it... Measured 14-16" the other day in the QC, that's not going anywhere in a week of 40's and 50's.
-
Almost 1.5" of rain here with that and warm temps the ice will be rotten. All the backwater spots I fish on the river the ice on the edges is all slanted in from the drastic river level changes. Those edges will go to crap real fast.
-
If it were just the higher temps, I think the ice would still be ok by the weekend. This rain combined with high temps however is disastrous. Hoping this past weekend was not my last.
-
i didn't drive by anything safe looking today. sigh, heading up north the weekend after next.
-
Taking the wife out to shoot Saturday instead of ice fish.
-
Ice sucks here too. Let's hope for February and March. Damn Global Warming.
-
Going to a local gun show this weekend instead.

After next Wednesday, the highs at the lake aren't above 34 on the extended forecast. Lows are all in the mid to low 20s. Might take some time at that rate, but should at least start building some ice back up.
