Need Tips on What lakes to fish
« on: Oct 21, 2007, 09:29 PM »
I am from Iowa and will be in the Mt. Horeb over christmas break and am looking to do a little icefishing.  Can any of you tell me of some really good lakes?  Pereferablly that have big Panfish!  Thanks

Evan, a couple of good panfish lakes, a few miles away are lake Mendota (university bay), lake monona (out of olin park), monona bay (first ice), and the rest of the Madison chain. BUT.....be carefull we have not had good ice this last year untill mid Jan. I still had the boats out on Jan. 6th.
GOOD LUCK AND TIGHT LINES
