Hey there up until this year I have always fished the ice with my 5 ft rod, this year my wife bought me some ice fishing rods for Xmas, what is the difference with the 3 eyed rods compared to the 4 and 5 eyed rods??

Longer rods usually have more flex and forgiveness. You usually can go down to a lighter line with a longer rod because of this.
