Just looking for some good gloves for ice fishing as well as riding the ATV, getting a littel smarter and want to keep the hands warmer this winter.

I have a pair of the LL Bean Gortex and Thinsolate gloves and use them for ice fishing and hunting.  I've had them for ten years now, and they are still in good shape.  When I was younger I froze my hands enough to where now I can not tolerate the cold for very long.  These are one of the few pairs of gloves that I've used where I can put my frozen hands in and they warm back up.

Save your coin on the gloves and buy a set of electric hand grips and or throttle/thumb warmers. Doesn't matter what kind of gloves you have hands stay warm while riding. Just make sure you wire them so that when the key is off they go off or you will your battery will be like a gut hooked perch. DEAD

Cider,
Thanks, I was down at my local motorsports shop tonight picking up a relay and noticed they had some cold weather gloves. I ended up buying them, it was 16 degree out when I left with the dog. The hands were nice and toasty, thanks.

Cider,
I was looking up Choko and wondered if you were these bibs all day long while ice fishing, I am looking for some water / wind proof bibs that withstand some punishment. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have been looking at the Cabelas Guide wear bibs and Jacket but was wondering if they would be a good purchase. I have not heard too much about them.

One more weekend of riding the trails waiting for thicker ice may make me purchase the Guide wear outfit.
