Took my first trip this season to Marsh Creek Lake today. There were 4 to 5 inches of good hard ice back in Conestoga cove. The lake was navigable from Little Conestoga Rd. to Chalfont Rd. People were coming and going in both directions, skating, fishing, walking etc.. I managed to jig up a dozen nice bluegills and a couple of pip-squeek throw back perch no luck on tip-ups. I'm not sure if any of the other fishermen out there caught anything, didn't have time to talk. I might revisit that area this Wed.
