Hello
Looking at getting Cabela’s ECWCS heavy weight base layer
Anyone have em?
Any Good?
I’m also concerned about size... I’m 6’4” and bounce between 275-300lbs
I’m thinking 2xl tall should be perfect
Anyone around my size able to comment on sizing?
Thanks

I picked up a ECWCS polar weight top a year or two back, it's great for warmth, breathable, and thin. Much better than the MTP heavyweight I had, warm but bulky and fleece type material. Watch for Cabelas fall or early winter sale, I picked mine up for pretty cheap. probably have it on black friday also.

I have two because I like them so much, but I have a Large when I normally wear Medium. Get them as large as you can, but I wear mine all the time and will be buying more.

they're made for a snug fit....i'm 200 and wear a large. Best base layer i've ever had

I got a couple sets probably 7 years ago and they're still going strong, no holes and the 1/4 zip still works. I'm 6'5" and 235ish. I wear 2xl tall tops and XL bottoms, both are on the smaller side, snug on me as others have said. I like this base layer for stationary activities like watching flags all day but get to doing a bunch of hiking or sled dragging and they can get to be a bit much. I see they're on sale today.

I'm 6' 7", 285 lbs and just ordered the 2XL tall 1/4 zip top.
I'll let you know in a few days ;)
