Perch Fishing Suprise
« on: Mar 08, 2005, 09:40 AM »
All I wanted was some nice perch and along comes this guy.  On a jigging rod with 4lb test, 20 minutes later a 28" 8lb brood stock salmon for the grill.

Big Griz that was Whalom Lake in Mass, put and take broodstock Atlantic Salmon from a Hatchery.  There fun to catch but I rather eat and catch perch on a regular basis through the ice!  Broodstock ar ok table fair.
