two of these perch were just 13" and one over 12".
anybody know why there tails are worn off?
1.3 lbs. was the fat one, but my wife won't tell me where she caught them.

Wow those are some nice fish. I wouldn't mind sorting all day to just to get a handfull like that. Tough to tell for sure but looks like they are all over 12"? And beefy to boot. Had to be a blast pulling those through the ice.

The tails are worn off due to them dragging on the bottom. They are dragging on the bottom due to there fat bellies weighting them down

Anyone remember this post? That was a great week fishing. Ice fishing for huge perch

in the morning and walleye fishing the river in the afternoon. Too bad I moved. Will miss Fraser and Waterworks.

Bates, those days are long gone. Went back to that same lake (West Twin) now every year since and have never marked or caught a fish. Thinking about staying Down Under for the summer months or moving to Devils Lake where the Sows live. Tip, Lizard Creek
