remembering magog
« on: Jan 31, 2008, 12:57 PM »
hey people,I was born and raised in newport and fished magog all the time as a kid with my father.Well its been about 15 years since I've been back. We fished the bridge by the bowling alley, the docks at the marina, and the railroad trussle.Anybody fish in that area and what are you catching? Thinking about making a trip back for a weekend to do some fishing and dont know what to target there anymore. Probably wont recognize anything on main st now-lol-I graduated in 97 here but might recognize a childhood name from newport!

My name is Andy and i'm a fishaholic....

Not all that much has changed in Newport. You won't have a hard
time finding your way around. Fishing is still good. Biggest difference
is existence of pike (primarily) in south bay w/few showing up North
of the city.
