Metro Lakes?
« on: Dec 15, 2006, 01:27 PM »
Does anyone have any good metro lakes that produce decent fish?  Crappies, Gill ect?  I would rather know of a different lake other than minnetonka.

PM me or post it up!

Anywhere in the metro area,  I was meaning that I was looking for lakes other than minnetonka and other larger well known lakes.

I am looking for lakes closer to the minneapolis, St. Anthony, and roseville area.

I have never fished it, but my buddy nails Eyes on Long Lake (694 and Long Lk).  you have to park on the road and walk in though.

I technically live in Roseville (Larpenteur and Hamline).  I've heard of people having decent success on Johanna for perch and 'eyes.  I would like to try Owasso sometime.
