LOW: Lake of the Woods 1-2" ice being added nightly by cold temps

"Baudette
Lake of the Woods is reported to have 9 inches of ice over 10 feet of water, and roughly 7 inches of ice over deeper waters. The recent low temperatures are adding 1-2 inches of ice each night. The the water clarity is described as excellent. Walleyes are currently being taken on shiners worked in 15-20 feet of water, 4-6 feet off the bottom. The Rainy River currently has 8 inches of ice at Four Mile Bay and around Pine Island. The walleye bite has been excellent, with fish being pulled from 17-19 feet of water near Pine Island. Adrian’s Resort has marked a trail from the bay to the lake for four-wheelers."
