Anotha weekend in the books
« on: Jan 23, 2022, 05:25 PM »
Saturday hit some big water. A pleasant -12 as we banged in holes predawn. Tough but Ran the jackers despite the temps and a jar of eggs launched. Walking sucked balls, 8" snow with super hard crust breakthrough every step, so I didn't move nearly what I normally do.
Tough bite. One hit one hen all morning.
Sunday was a great day with my favorite fishing buddy! Love these days he gets to show dad what he's made of. Hit our local fav warm water go to. Nothing crazy just steady action all day. 26 largies/smallies, half doz slabs, handful of whities. 3 eagles, 2 red fox's chasing on the ice.
How do I have to go from this... to work tomorrow?

Nice Bow brother! You’re a better man than me. I’m not fishing in this S lol. I’ll go out when it warms

Those eagles were crazy Saturday ..they grabbed a small pick and a few yellows for dinner from us ..hope next weeks storm misses ..glad you had a great weekend ..they all go to fast
when chuck norris played golf for money, chuck marked down a hole in zero every time, the golf pro said, "chuck: you can't score zero on a hole." Chuck norris turned towards the man and said, "I'm chuck norris, the man proceeded to pour gas over his body and set himself on fire because that would be less painful than getting roundhouse kicked by chuck norris....chuck norris roundhouse kicked him in the face anyways
