Germ.... Blk/Gold and Blk/Slvr is all I use in both types of baits.  Often I don't tip them with anything but when I do its a 1.5" white or Chtr twister or mini tube.  Have a super sensitive high quality graphite rod helps detect the really lite pickup's like the other day... had to set immediately or you missed the fish.  All of them had the hook's firmly planted in the upper jaw.
