Just wondering what Clear Lake is like.  I plan on heading up there this weekend, I have never fished there before so can you give me some starting tips.  What jigs, where, when, and so on?

Access the lakle form the south side of the lake by the island.  There should be a huge city of houses there.  Go anywhere along the edge of the city in about 15' of water.  1 foot off the bottom, small jigging spoons, minnows.  Best tiem is to get out there and set up around 2:30 and fish until 7 or 8 is usually when the yellow bass run is done.  It usually starts around 4:30 - 5 and will last about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes.

Hope this helps.  Is any other questions just stop in at Dome Bait and Tackle in Ventura.

Good Luck at getting any information out of Jim Maybe its just me but he doesn't seem to help that much when it comes to where the fish are and when they are biting, and what on.
