Don't no how 12 or 3 is doing for ice but all my lakes around Mt Ayr are pretty messed up but that's 20 miles south of 3and 12  I will bet it  didn't do them much good call the pier and get a report just to be safe if I get up that way I will post a report

Was at 12 mile last night.  fishing was slow.  caught a couple avg perch at sunset then managed 8 crappies through 8:00.  saw lots fish took a lot to get them to bite.  caught the perch on a green gill pill and crappie on blue forage minnow.

same story for last night, 4:30 to 6:30 was the bite, kept 7 Crappie in the 10" to 12" range threw a doz smaller ones back, no sign of the elusive perch for me :) 21' of water, buckshot & minnow head. lake isn't very crowded with 10 below windchill, still had a nice chat with a few fellows. I think we need the weather to be more consistant

We did pretty good on the perch down there a week ago, but the bite seemed to really slow down by the time the weekend hit.

Think I talked to you down at 12 Sparkee.  We ended up moving to 3 Mile and caught a few small yellows and crappie.

Was kind of gun shy on trying new spots after the slow morning of scouting, but agree that a trip to Green Valley is needed.  I'll be at the Miles both days this weekend and will try to sneak over to Green Valley for a bit.

I was wondering if any ATV'S are on 3 or 12 mile yet?  Had a friend text me yesterday and told me some pickup's were out on 12.  I can't believe that, not yet anyway.  Is the Ice fairly thick around the channel?  Thank's in advance!

It sure seems that way right now with as many as we have been catching there.  We took a friend the other day that doesn't go out much and he caught us on a scouting day.  Fishing was slow so it was nice to be able to go get him on the yellows at 3, but hope it doesn't get as bad as Clear Lake.

I checked two weeks ago and no cabins were available until late February. I have been on 12-mile a couple times the last week or so. It has been a little slow IMO. Decent bite at dawn for perch and gillies and stud crappies near dark if you can find em....

We rented a cabin two weeks ago during the week with no notice. Seem open during the week and booked on the weekends. Fished 3mile, 12mile, and green island lakes.
