NE WI Lakes Recommendation for Walk On
« on: Jan 07, 2019, 07:45 PM »
Hello,

I’m new to the forum but have found lots of great info the couple months since joining!  I introduced my 9 year old son this year to ice fishing and looking to take weekend trip toward the end of the Jan to NE Wisconsin.  Looking for any recommendations for panfish/walleye lakes that might be good for walkers (e.g. no snowmobile or quad so something not to big with public access).  Will also give me a chance to use my new Smitty sled just build over the weekend.   ;)

Thanks,
Matt

Two lakes worth looking into that have decent fishing not far off the boat landings. Palmer and Big Lake of the Cisco Chain. Really decent fishing for walleye, perch and pike within 1/4 mile walk.
