There are 2 white fish lake, big and little and neither of them are iced over yet.

Fishing can be great. I have caught very big perch gills specs bass and 3 walleye last year. When it freezes most people on big whitefish fish the west cove. Lots of people no mistaking it.

Lots of nice pike in big whitefish as well! I have yet to get a walleye outta there but I caught several nice pike there this past summer.

Why dont you just go fish it and find out for yourself. The dnr has stocking data and also recent shocking reports.

C.C., can you tell me what bar patterns do the Northerns have there???
and are they Right or Left finned , so I can adjust the angle of the barbs
