This year I'm asking Santa (the wife) for a pack basket and a liner for my traps. I like to be as mobile as possible without having to drag a sled and this will complete my setup.
Of course I really want an ATV but Santa only works part time so I may have to get that one on my own.

How about you guys???

Augers? Traps? Scoops? Shacks? Powerbait?

The wife is getting me a Dan Wesson .41 mag handgun. This will be my new exclusive deer hunting gun.

The wife also bought me a new ice-rod and reel along with a bunch of jigs, bobbers, line...etc.

I asked for an ATV as well but..................S anta said it will have to wait until the money tree reappears!

I am getting an FL-18 ultra pack (so I guess I didn't do too badly!)

Absolutely nothing! Me and the missus quit exchanging a few years ago. No malls, crowds, what to buy, what size, etc., etc. for me. Now that's a good woman!!

I guess I really shouldn't ask for anything. In October,I got a new Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi, I've picked up probably $3-400 worth of rods, reels and tackle and the day after XMAS, I pick up my new ATV.

How about "PEACE ON EARTH, GOOD WILL TOWARDS MEN" and may all our troops be home soon. God bless you all.

I think he means the not exchanging gifts part. I've done the not exchanging thing for a while, but I won't do it again. I enjoy both the giving and the receiving.

the most important thing to me is some thick ice cause it's raining now

and it seams like spring. i would also enjoy geting an atv and a new ice shanty and some new rods and tackle.

Santa sure has his work cut out for him, I heard 50 degrees again on sunday ( finger lakes ). Honeoye lost its ice again today. Might be in the boat sunday,tired of waiting for ice. I'll put my fish trap on the bow of the boat , flip it down and jig . Maybe mount a few tip downs on the gunnel where the rod holders are.
I guess I can leave the jiffy in the Suburban.

ICE...ICE...ICE!

My father-in-law gave my wife money to buy gifts for ourselves before he left for Florida...I had dreams so did she. The luggage is nice I guess. She did tell me I had $40 to spend on myself. When I walked in with the new Frabil rod and saw the her reaction on her face, I think I figured out one of my gifts from her. She would neither confirm or deny, but I told her not to worry, I've got two hands. We hit over 50 degrees in Central New York today, Ithought this was December, not April. So I ask Santa again:
