Anyone fished Kootnz Lake before? Never fished it and I was just wondering what part of the lake was good in the winter.

I'm kinda curious as well.  I've fished it a few times in open water but never thru the ice

No. The lake you are thinking of is Kuhn lake. Kuntz lake is off of 30 just west of Plymouth.

Thanks, Speaking of Kuhn, my brother says that is really good for redears in the spring. Not far from the PA

I have fished koontz before. It can be good. I go out in front of Stanley's marina and used to catch quite a few jumbo perch and some good gills. Have got on it a couple times this year with little success. Used to name able to find some weeds. Didn't find many this year. I have also caught some really nice bass on tip ups. That can be fun as well.

I have fished it open water as well but never on ice. I'm just curious. Guess I'll have to go give it a try maybe this weekend.
