12/28 Colchester Pond.

Fished colchester pond today from 7:30am till 1:30. Iced 5 northerns, 1 was a very fat 9lb 36" fish. Pretty slow day but felt good to get out there for the first time this year. There was a solid 5" of ice and a few spots had some water on top from yesterdays monsoon. Had a fellow near us who also put 5 or 6 on the ice.

very nice. I went out  christmas day and punched 3 holes to jig. Nothing bit. did you go all the way across or set up under the power lines?.....jim s

very nice. i have been over there many times. Hit and miss. Seem to have more action by the dam under the power lines. I will set up there when I take my kids. More action most times but smaller pike. Perfect for the kids.....jim s

Went out yesterday morning.....good ice 5-6 inches.....little bit of slop on top, but not too deep.  Iced two northerns.....largest was 5lbs 26in......other very small.......plenty of other guys fishing and saw a couple of others iced from what I could see.

Out again next weekend!!
