South pond open

I haven't been my but was looking to take the boat out. My guess is it's not open yet but thought I would ask.

You wont find ice. Was there last night for a few casts. Stupid me didnt bring any trout rigs. The water was boiling with trout. Headed back with proper gear to catch my bait for this weekend pike hunt  ;)
Jk. Wish we could use trout as bait. Coworkers love them tho

I have had so many trout get attacked by pike. Magic bait.

its only illegal if you get caught. Crappie make great bait as well
