Title: Reminder to Charge your Ice Flasher
Post by: Oldbear on Sep 10, 2020, 03:57 PM: Don't forget to put a charge in your ice flasher. Charging the old Vexilar right now and I try to do it about every 6 weeks. I got 10 years out of the first battery from doing that and charging it as soon as I got home fro the days fishing.

Post by: 77tech on Sep 11, 2020, 09:30 PM: I decided the best way to charge the battery in my flasher and some spare sla batteries I have acquired is to charge them all at the beginning of the month so I don't forget about it. Seems to work for me

I do the same. from what I understand it is good for the batteries to do it this way.
