Don't forget to put a charge in your ice flasher. Charging the old Vexilar right now and I try to do it about every 6 weeks. I got 10 years out of the first battery from doing that and charging it as soon as I got home fro the days fishing.

I was thinking the same thing, this weekend Ill be charging mine up

I decided the best way to charge the battery in my flasher and some spare sla batteries I have acquired is to charge them all at the beginning of the month so I don't forget about it. Seems to work for me

I do the same. from what I understand it is good for the batteries to do it this way.

I got a couple of batteries that I charge up to full, but the next day, I am down a bar on my battery tester and it stays there. new battery in my near future?

I am really liking the Lithium Ion batteries I got from Amped Outdoors.

I had mine sitting for a couple of months, plugged it in and it was still fully charged. it's just a 1 yr old batt----maybe that's why?
