Frabill Big Foot holds about 150 yards of line and you can see the flag from about 5 miles away.

You can run a Beaver Dam, but spool it with low diameter braid like Power Pro. 30lb test has 8lb diameter. I run the Frabill Big Game flags for pike, they aren't really all that sensitive for fish like walleye that have a tendency to be light eaters.

They also make 40lb tipup line as opposed to 80. Most spools will hold 40-50 yards of the 40lb.

Jacktraps with 4 inch reel
x2. I just spoiled one up with 150 yards of 45 lb tip up line and some room to spare.
