Shiners and plastic garbage bags?
« on: Jan 28, 2011, 08:35 AM »
I like to purchase by bait for the weekend on Friday afternoons - I usually get 2 dozen shiners (one for Saturday and one for Sunday) my question is does anyone know if I line a five gallon bucket with a trash liner if that will cause a die off???  I just dont want to bring all 2 dozen out with me on Saturday - I would rather take what I am going to use and keep one dozen at home in a bucket with an air stone running.  I am not certain of what was originally in the five gallon buckets so I was thinking about lining it with a trashliner just to be safe.

Has anyone had trash liners leech things into the water that killed their bait - These are plain old clear trash liners - not the scented force flex ones.

Thanks

Tom D
