fished lime lake yesturday in the cove wasnt much ice outside the cove. got about 5 nice gills. marking tons just cant get them to bite. also caught a 29" northern. and a 18" small mouth

Outdoor man you must be fishin with a magic wand I have thrown everything at those fish in there and haven't pulled one out yet.. I did end up buying that Norcross we put it side by side with the vex. They were both marking fish at the same time, the vex is way better but this norcorss was not that expensive and does the job (and it fits in your pocket with an audible alert). anyway I think I want to try Long Lake was going to take my daughter out this weekend and wanted her to catch some fish even if they are dinks.. I think it was Spartaman that told me the fish are stunted in there, have you heard anything about that?

Youll have to look for the fish. But I have caught em the 3 tims Ive been to that lake.

Have a map?? there is one on the DNR site. In the shallow water during the day....you can see to the bottom and if in the weeds your daughtr will enjoy looking in the holes.

i stop by long lake yesturday after noon and threw so tip up out caught a 18" norhern about 3:30 pm . didn't try pan fishing i did mark a few thou

I use the inland lakes map guides on the DNR. I have been to the beach there quite a few times. is that how you are getting on the lake is there a boat launch? My daughter is 3 and this will be her first time out, so I really want her to catch some fish so she will jump at the next chance.

where i fish is the deeper end of the lake.... i park right of long lake rd and then just walk right... start poppin a ton of holes and just hole hop until u find a hole with constant fish then shanty up

That'll work. I think Diva you are on the opossite side of the lake. There is a launch on the West side. My 7 year old has been there with me and loved it. It can be dinkville but as you said...fish are fish to a 3 y/o.

cmon out I am planning on mid morning on Saturday.. come to think of it I would need someone to go with me.. I sprained my lumbar yesterday being "supermom" and lifting a "boulder" to build a snowman. Felt like I got tasered!!! that snowman better last! I crawled all day until I went to the chiropractor, am walking today but not sure If I will be able to drill holes on Saturday, doc told me 2 weeks nothin stupid.. I am wondering if that qualifies???

Maybe you should head out there on Saturday too. sounds like you found a hot spot though on those private lakes...

W :nono:ell, the only thing I have been catching on that lake is a buzz. Sunday I stumbled off around 4 and decided I either need a new lake or to bring less beer!!! They aren't catchin fish in REHAB
