Super Bowl Squares is back for another year!

For those of you that don't know what the Super Bowl Squares is, let me explain:

There are 10 columns and 10 rows making 100 squares with each square having a corresponding number for each team (i.e. score is 10 AFC and 13 NFC at the end of the 1st quarter, the person with the square in the column with #0 for the AFC and row for #3 for the NFC wins the 1st quarter).

There are winners for the 1Q, Half, Reverse Half (#3 for AFC and #0 for NFC), 3Q, Final, and Reverse Final. In previous years, that is all we did but I have done another square league where the number of first downs and the total yardage was also done. I want there to be more winners this year so I will be adding those in as well.

WE DO NOT PLAY FOR MONEY! Instead, we play for jigs/lures/equipment. Each participant will need to let me know what they will be offering up as their "bet" when they tell me what squares they want. This year I figured we could put a minimum dollar amount of $15 spent per person (you can go over if you feel like you are in the giving mood).

The Super Bowl will be played on 2/11/24 so all wanting participants must let me know by 2/2/23 at noon CST in order to be qualified. On the afternoon of 2/3, I will let guys start picking their squares on a first come first serve basis (number of squares per person will depend on number of participants). The columns and rows will be decided and posted on 2/9/23.

After all of the winners are decided, it is the winner's responsibility to post who's "bet" they want and then that person must mail out their "bet" in a timely manner.

The order for picking the "bet" will be determined on 2/3 and is dependent on how many participants we have.

Also, if we end up with an uneven number, the first person will get an extra square, and so on.
