Cooked!
« on: Mar 18, 2021, 08:04 AM »
While I've spent many cold days out on the ice without shelter, yesterday was a scorcher. I spent a few hours fishing in my undershirt and jeans on ice, caught a few good ones too.

However, I came back  with my face cooked, I'd say well done  :o

Yep, definitely well done. That's how I looked last week after my last trip.

It's days like that when I'm glad I bring sunscreen with me in my tackle bucket.

I always have some in my trunk. But I'm normally too bundled up to get sunburn when ice fishing. At least I'm not in any pain.

Been there too at this time of year. Only good thing for me is it seems to go away a lot faster than a summer burn.

X2! will never complain about getting that early suntan in March while chasing panfish late ice! Favorite time to be out there!
