Stolen vehicle recovery help requested
« on: Mar 10, 2021, 04:15 PM »
Not ice related, I know, but hoping to help a friend. Since a lot of us lurk around Fishing Access Sites, I thought there’s a chance someone caught a glimpse of these jackholes in Craig or Helena yesterday.  Marine Corps MT plates: E4306. Stolen from near the Helena Civic Center last night (March 9).  Thanks.

UPDATE:  The vehicle was recovered the first week of May.
YOU are the only one who can decide if the ice is safe enough for you.

My truck is in the driveway. It happened to a friend’s truck.

Knowing that someone else had the keys , that truck should have been disabled by the owner so it wouldn't have disappeared

Good luck to the Corporal. May he get to spend 5 minutes alone with the trash that stole from him.

Out of state B-stards have cottoned onto boat ramps as many folks leave keys for shuttles.  Best to always keep an extra key with the shuttle company or drop of a key with a fly shop that does the shuttles.  We caught a trio of WA gang bangers doing just that about four years ago near Big Timber.  Quite the sight to see them run into the cottonwoods and try to hide from the game warden who happened to arrive when the confrontation began.
