We are going up there on the 23rd. Buddy of mine lives in Nipawin, said its pretty tough going on the lake and to bring the sled.

Any info on plowed roads and truck access to the flats? Heading up next week for a few days on the ice.

Any of you guys ever fish the river around Eagles nest? I’ve never fished up that way in the winter. What is the ice like on the river in that area if any of you out there have fished there? Any info is appreciated, I don’t feel like swimming yet this year. Lol

Got home late last night after spending 2 nights on the flats. Fished for 52 hours non stop! After the warm weather it settled the snow so with speed you can get around not bad with a decent 4x4. Action was Good with over 20 pike being landed. Just me and my Dad. Those are memories to cherish now.

Nice job! Nothing better than spending quality time like that with the people that mean the most to you. Awesome
