As of 01.08.06 the shorelines on Eagle, Browns, Tichigan, Wind, and various other "Milwaukee area" lakes are pretty crappy.  At Browns lake I had to get on the ice via the pier at Fischer park.  The ice further out won't be far behind if the weather keeps up.  It looks to me like a shanty fell through on Browns too; big 10X10 hole about 200 yards out from the launch.  I can't imagine the sun and warm temps today did any good for the ice either.  Come on cold!!
Fishing is not a matter of life or death. It's more serious than that!!
