you will most likely be trailing to each lake/slough. The lakes are fairly close together in NESD but not really connected except where you run into flooded sloughs that have formed larger lakes. eg Bitter, etc. Most fishing information and activity is centered around Webster and Sportsman's Cove. Do yourself a favor and talk to Doug or stop there prior to trip to get the latest. Alot of fisherman base out of The Galley in Webster as they have a restaurant, nice rooms and a heated fish cleaning shack. If you can get in there I would suggest it. Being in Webster you can go 20 miles in any direction and be on any species you want. There are alot of access issues with flooded private ground where it connects to public right of ways. Day county is in the corner of the land owner, so, just be aware that because you can access water off some flooded gravel road you can fish it. I would stick to the well known bodies of water unless you get permission. Lakes like Bitter,Waubay,Lynn,Enemy Swim,Reetz,Pickerel, etc will provide you will more than enough options for your stay. Good Luck
