Snowmobiles for scofield?
« on: Dec 25, 2017, 10:33 PM »
Hello!  I am considering taking the kids to scofield in the morning, but I’ve never fished it and I’m curious if snowmobiles are usually used for access or if the banks are too steep etc?  Anyone give me a little insight?  Thanks!

I think your best bet would be to park by the boat ramp and ride down the ramp if you're taking kids. Pretty easy access from there walking or with a sled.

Thanks Dunn13!  Plenty of ice for snow machines when you were up there a couple days ago?

I was there the 22nd and there was 8" of ice with a few inches of snow on top in the dam arm.
